Dirk Schulte
Dirk Schulte (born December 9, 1955 in Arnsberg ) is a German songwriter , musician and poet.
biography
Dirk Schulte founded his first rock band in 1971 and began training as a bookseller, which he completed in 1974. In 1976 he worked as a street musician in Cologne for a year and then moved to Aachen.
In 1978/79 he founded the rock bands Trial , Dr. Caligari band and the land art band Der Verdacht , in which he was active until 1991. After vocal training at the Eupen-Bütgenbach Music Academy and an eleven engagement at the Aachen City Theater in 1978/79, he sang from 1981 to 1993 as the front man of the Aachen rock formation Sport im Westen . At the same time, Schulte started the rock chanson and poetry project Moskito , with which he was touring from 1981. In 1989 he headed the rock department of the independent music school Music Loft in Aachen .
Dirk Schulte works today as a songwriter, composer, lyricist, poet and as a private lecturer in the areas of singing, voice training and stage performance, as well as on the conception and implementation of numerous media educational projects with young people and adults and on advanced training for specialist staff in the field of pedagogy and social work.
