Dirk Ziervogel

Dirk Ziervogel (born November 12, 1917 - March 26, 1977 ) was a South African linguist .

Life

Ziervogel has studied and cataloged various native languages in South Africa and southern Africa . He wrote the first Zulu grammar after carefully studying and analyzing the language.

He also wrote several dictionaries for other native languages .
