Discuz! is a forum software developed by Comsenz Technology Ltd. is being developed. The source code is based on PHP , it supports the MySQL and PostgreSQL databases . Discuz! is free for private users. A license that allows the owner to use it commercially costs around 3000 RMB . Discuz! is extremely popular in the People's Republic of China , especially in Hong Kong ; since the software is officially only available in Chinese, it is less known in other language countries. The manufacturer stopped work on an English version for financial reasons, but there are unofficial translations.
Discuz! is based on the XMB, which is very popular in Asia .
With version 6.1.0, the forum is now dependent on an existing UCenter installation, which serves as an interface for all Comsenz products.
