Dissonanzen was the name of the women's editorial team and the eponymous broadcast of the left-wing alternative and radical radio station Radio 100 , which was launched in 1986 in Berlin-Schöneberg . Radio 100 could be received terrestrially throughout Berlin and parts of the GDR . Dissonanzen was the first functioning RADIO 100 editorial team. It broadcasted from March 1, 1987 to February 28, 1991 for at least 1 hour every day, Monday through Friday.

The namesake were Regina Schütze and Marion Fabian, at the time members of the founding power of the broadcaster and partner ARB - Anderes Radio Berlin . Other founding members included a. Rose Gauger († 2008), Gitti Hentschel, Ilona Marenbach, Judith Piontek, Karin Wieners and Rena Töpfer.

Dissonances stimulated feminist discussions, provided other Radio 100 editorial offices with articles and gave them suggestions on topics relevant to women. In addition to the explicit political orientation and partisanship for women, dissonances stood out due to the choice of music from any radio station. It was not just the female voices in the music that were decisive; long-playing records by female composers, instrumentalists and women's bands of various genres were put on.

Individual members of the women's editorial team also had their own slots for cultural and music programs , for example “ You, the Music Disease ” and “ Teeschock ”.

After the station went out of business due to a dubious insolvency, several employees were able to use the Radio 100 springboard for journalistic careers in the established radio and television world as well as in the press landscape. As part of the 30th anniversary of the launch of Radio 100, which was celebrated on March 3 and 4, 2017 in the Columbia Theater, Berlin, dissonances could be heard again in a two-hour broadcast, hosted by reboot.fm on terrestrial frequency 88 , 4 MHz and on the Internet. In a panel, three generations of women radio producers discussed the development of feminism. The women with a sense of mission unanimously determined that they actually still have to talk about many topics that were relevant 30 years ago: Gesine Strempel (time points SFB / RBB ), Marion Fabian (dissonances), Ulrike Ertl (Sissi FM), Julia Bonn and Anna-Lena Wenzel (Missy), moderation: Judith Fiedler (Radio 100).

Dissonance women accepted an offer from reboot.fm and will broadcast from May 21, 2017 initially every four weeks on Sundays from 5 to 6 p.m. on 88.4 MHz and live on the Internet. The return of dissonances . Because: there cannot be enough radio programs that look at our world from a feminist perspective.
