Diversity Ball
The Diversity Ball takes place annually in Vienna . The barrier-free ball is a mixture of classic Viennese ball culture and modern party culture. The aim is to create a cosmopolitan culture of diversity in which people let each other be as they are. On the night of the ball, the organizers and the guests set an example for the colorfulness in society, for tolerance, accessibility and mutual respect regardless of gender, age, religion, disability, origin or sexual orientation .
The first Diversity Ball took place on April 5, 2008 under the name Le Grand Bal de Diversité in the Art Nouveau Theater at Steinhof. On May 4, 2019, the 12th Diversity Ball took place in the Kursalon Vienna with 2000 ball guests under the motto Masquerade .
