Divided Multitude is a Norwegian power and progressive metal band from Brekstad that was formed in 1995.

history

The band was formed in 1995. After a demo was released with Stranded and Tale of Tomorrow in 1996 and 1997 , the band signed a contract with Sensory Records and released their debut album Inner Self on this label in 1999 . The release was followed by a tour of Norway and Denmark with the Swedish band Hollow . The second album, Falling to Pieces , was released in 2002. This was followed by a festival tour that included an appearance at ProgPower Europe . From 2004 the band was inactive so that the band members could devote themselves to other projects. In 2007 the members got back together and took up the Guardian Angel demo . Towards the end of 2008, another was recorded at Skansen Lydstudio and @home Studios . This was mastered by Jacob Hansen in the Hansen Studios . In 2009 the band reached a contract with Silverwolf Productions and released the album Guardian Angel on this.

style

The band plays progressive Power Metal, whereby the focus in the songs is usually less on working on the instruments, but rather on the song itself.
