Jacob Hansen

Jacob Hansen (born November 9, 1970 in Esbjerg ) is a Danish singer , guitarist and music producer .

Career

Hansen made his first musical steps at the age of 15 when he was doing several jam sessions with a friend . A year later the thrash metal band “Black Creed” was formed from this, and a short time later they were renamed Invocator . In the early 1990s, the band released three albums on which Hansen can be heard as a singer and guitarist. 1995 Invocator disbanded again. Seven years later, the band reformed and in 2003 released their last album, Through the Flesh to the Soul . Then Hansen joined the band Beyond Twilight , for which he has so far recorded two albums and was responsible for the rhythm guitar. In 2007 Hansen sang the progressive metal band Anubis Gate on the album Andromeda Unchained .

Since 1990 Hansen has also appeared as a music producer and runs the Hansen Studios in the city of Ribe . At first he worked with local Danish bands such as Urkraft, Raunchy or The Arcane Order . The first foreign bands such as Maroon , Deadlock and Rob Rock came to Ribe in the mid-2000s . In 2003 Hansen produced the demo Beat the Meat for the band Volbeat . Although he could not do much with the music of this band at first, he became the regular producer of Volbeat. Most recently, Hansen produced the album Thrash Anthems by the renowned German band Destruction .
