Division d'Honneur 2007/08

The 2007/08 Division d'Honneur was 57th season of the New Caledonian Division d'Honneur . The championship was first played in the two regions of Grande-Terre and Lifou . In Grande-Terre a round -robin tournament was played with a round trip. The three best clubs qualified for the playoffs , in which the New Caledonian football champions were played. The remaining five clubs play two relegated clubs from Grande-Terre in a playdown round. Lifou played in a single round. The winner also qualified for the play-offs, plus there was a relegated team. The game was played in a 4-2-1 point system.

In the playoffs, AS Magenta prevailed and was New Caledonian football champions for the fourth time, but was not approved for the OFC Champions League 2008/09 . After the playdowns from Grand-Terre ACB Poya and Gaïtcha FCN were relegated , from Lifou St. Jean Baptiste de Hnathalo had to leave the league. The team was replaced by JS Chépénéhé .

Grande Terre

The first three clubs of the Grand Terre Super Ligue qualified for the playoffs. All other teams had to play against relegation in the playdowns.

Playdowns

The playdowns were played in a single round. The teams took over the points achieved from the Super Ligue minus 19 points (the number of points that the last placed in the Super Ligue had achieved). The points taken from the Super Ligue are in brackets after the total number of points achieved.
