Djævelsten from Reerslev

The Djævelsten von Reerslev , also called Blotsten ( German  Teufelsstein von Reerslev, also blood stone) , is a boulder ( Danish Vandreblokk ). It is located near Risbjergvej between Reerslev and Tågerup near Ruds-Vedby on the Danish island of Zealand .

The granite stone is about 2.0 meters high, 4.0 meters wide and 5.0 meters long. It is estimated that it weighs 50 tons.

Legend

It is said that a troll from Ringsted or Roskilde threw him at either Kuglehøj or Reerslev Church. Despite his name, there is no legend linking him to the devil.

Djævelsten Egebæksvang is located in Skotterup's Henrikspark.
