Djeba was the ancient Egyptian name of the ancient Egyptian unit of measurement "finger" ( English digit ), which measured 1.87 centimeters. Four fingers were the length of a hand and 28 fingers were a royal cell . This unit of measurement was used, among other things, for levels for measuring the height of the Nile flood .
In addition, a finger embodied the cardinal number 10,000.
