The Dobroje Delo association ( Russian Доброе Дело , in German Gutes Werk ) is an independent, non-governmental , social organization in Moscow whose main task is to enable old people in Moscow to lead a decent and decent life even in old age. Dobroje Delo was founded in 2000 by the Moscow doctor Eduard Karjuchin, who specializes in the field of gerontology .

First and foremost, the employees and volunteers of Dobroje Delo visit their clients, now around 200 people, at home, supply them with medication, food and vitamins and ensure that they receive free medical care from gerontologists , ophthalmologists or ENT specialists without getting in line for hours. A large number of clients are victims of totalitarian regimes such as B. Former Gulag or concentration camp inmates. This program is mainly funded by the American organization United Way .

Secondly, Dobroje Delo tries to create a network of non-commercial organizations dealing with gerontology (GNCO). There are already contacts with organizations in the west of the country to the Far East which enable mutual exchange via the Internet and the organization of seminars.
