Doe B (* 1991 in Montgomery , Alabama ; † December 28, 2013 there ; real name Glenn Thomas ) was an American rapper who was under contract with Grand Hustle Records .

Career

Doe B graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in his hometown in 2009. On July 18, 2009, he lost his right eye in a shooting and has since worn an eye patch , which has become his trademark. In 2012 Doe B had a first commercial success with a remix version of his song Let Me Find Out . Guest musicians participated in the remix of Juicy J and TI ; The latter is also considered the discoverer of Doe B. In early 2013, Doe B was signed by the music label Grand Hustle Records . He finally became known in the hip-hop scene for his contributions to the G.DOD compilation . Doe B also published music videos and mixtapes . The mixtape Baby Jesus followed in summer 2013 .

On December 28, 2013, he was a guest at a club in Montgomery , Alabama. A shooting broke out there in which Doe B and a 21-year-old woman were killed. Five other people were injured. The death was made public by Grand Hustle Records via Doe B's Twitter account and was later confirmed by TI .

According to a Doe B manager, the rapper wrote about 200 songs that have not yet been released. In 2014 he released another album posthumously.
