Dog-G
Dog-G , aka Dwagie , ( Chinese 大 支 , Pe̍h-ōe-jī Toā-ki , actually: 曾 冠 榕 , Zēng Guànróng , Tseng Kuan-jung , Pe̍h-ōe-jī Chan Koàn-iông ; * around 1980) is a Taiwanese Rapper. He was the first hip hop musician to release an album in his native Chinese.
His first solo album was Lotus from the Tongue ( 舌 粲 蓮花 , 2002), the first rap album in the Chinese-speaking world. He cooperated u. a. with MC HotDog . Dog G is a Buddhist and after visiting the Dalai Lama and processing one of his statements in a song, he was banned from entering the People's Republic of China .
He is committed to animal rights and advocates social justice in Asia. The new edition of his debut album was only released 9 years after it was first released.
