Dokhata (also Doghat / Doghata or Dughat / Dughata , Arabic دوغات, Kurmanji Doxata, dt Pronunciation. Dochata ) is a jesidisches village in the north of Iraq . The village is about 12 km south of the Assyrian city of Alqosh and about 7 km north of the Assyrian city of Telskuf in the Tel Kaif district in the Ninawa governorate . The place is located in the Nineveh Plain and is one of the disputed areas of Northern Iraq .
