Dol (Hvar)

Dol (Croatian for valley) is a small town on the island of Hvar in Central Dalmatia , Croatia . Dol is divided into three districts, namely Sv. Maria , Sv. Mihovil and Sv. Ana . The main source of income is agriculture with viticulture , lavender and olive oil production . Today, however, many residents in nearby Stari Grad work in tourism .
