Dolcett

Dolcett is the pseudonym of a Canadian comic artist . He was part of a network of private individuals in the USA in the 1980s , who got to know each other in writing and sometimes personally through various BDSM magazines, in order to exchange extreme sexual fantasies and sometimes also to act out.

Dolcett became known for his works on the Internet in the 1990s when some people scanned his pictures and posted alt.sex.necrophilia , alt.sex.snuff.cannibalism, and alt.sex.asphyx in Usenet groups . One of his mostly black and white drawings was used by the Emma editorial team as part of the PorNO campaign .

Beginning in 1997, Dolcett's stories were collected by a woman named Karyn and posted on a website. Dolcett contacted Karyn, gave her previously unpublished material and also drew two new stories and various new individual images with her fantasies.

The focus of the images is mostly on one or more women who are either killed at their own request (cf. pre-arephilia ) or by force. They are impaled and fried, beheaded, hanged or shot. In a large part of his stories the women are then eaten (see sexually motivated cannibalism ). The clearly sexually connoted depictions - often before, during or after the killing of the women, the sexual act is also carried out with them - also include father-daughter incest among adults and, rarely, the killing of very young women. Most of the main male and female characters in most of the stories are real people who wanted to be drawn by Dolcett as expressions of their extreme sexual fantasies.

There are forums on the Internet such as Necrobabes , Dolcettgirls , Dolcettish , which deal with Dolcett's representations, among other things. In Second Life , there are specific areas where Dolcetts scenarios are simulated. The name Dolcett is sometimes used without restriction to the artist for this type of fantasy and its representation on the Internet.
