The dolmen in Broby Vesterskov (four long and four round dysses) are located in the southern part of a large forest, near the Suså (river), west of Vester Broby on the Danish island of Zealand . The megalithic systems of the funnel beaker culture (TBK) originated between 3500 and 2800 BC. Chr.

Long dolmen 1

The east-west oriented long dolmen is the largest in the forest and the third longest with a length of about 88 m, a width of about 8.0 m, a height of 1.2 m (in the east - in the west close to zero) and the 161 curb stones on Zealand. The approximately 1.4 × 0.8 m large chamber is an approximately centrally located polygonal pole with five supporting stones and an almost spherical cap stone.

Long dolmen 2

The east-west oriented long dolmen is the second largest in the forest with a length of about 22 m, a width of about 8.0 m and a height of 1.4 m. Some of the 34 curbs fell over. The longitudinal chamber consists of only three supporting stones.

Long dolmen 3

The east-west oriented restored long dolmen has a length of about 9.0 m, a width of about 6.0 m and a height of 1.4 m. The 24 curbs are in situ . The longitudinal chamber measures 1.35 × 0.7 m, is 1.4 m high and consists of three supporting stones and a cap stone with a few bowls .

Long dolmen 4

The north-west-south-east oriented long dolmen has a length of about 12.0 m, a width of about 8.0 m and a height of 0.3 m. The 21 curbs are largely in situ . The plant has two chambers.

The eastern, longitudinal chamber consists of two supporting stones on each side and a heavy capstone. There is a threshold stone in the southeast. An outside stone is the remainder of a passage. The 1.6 m high chamber measures 1.75 × 0.8 m inside.

In the west is a chamber made of two bearing stones without a capstone. Their internal dimensions are approximately 1.6 × 0.6 m.

Round dolmen 1

The only 0.3 m high overgrown round hill has a diameter of about 10 m and is surrounded by at least four boundary stones. The west-east oriented chamber is more disturbed. An approximately 2 m long bearing stone forms the north side. A small one on the south side, where another stone is missing. The 0.8 m wide chamber has no cap stones. In front of the east side remains of a 1.6 m long and 0.7 m wide corridor with a threshold stone have been preserved.

Round dolmen 2

The approximately 1.4 m high, well-preserved round hill with a diameter of around 20 m is surrounded by 21 curb stones. The north-west-south-east oriented large chamber is formed by 3 very large bearing stones, some of which are stabilized with cement, and a large capstone. The chamber has a long corridor that extends to the border and has a threshold stone at the end.

Round bar 3

The roughly 1.2 m high, poorly preserved round hill has a diameter of about 13.0 m. A single curb has been preserved. The north-south oriented dolmen consists of four high bearing stones and a slightly lower threshold stone in the south. This is followed by a short corridor. The high capstone on the north-western side of the hill covers a chamber measuring 1.55 × 0.95 m.

Round dolmen 4

The approximately 0.5 m high oval hill measures approximately 12 × 9.0 m. The west-east oriented chamber is disturbed. The relocated bearing stones form, without a capstone, a chamber that cannot be specified. Burned flint was found in the mound .

Outside the forest lies the Broby Mølsøvdys round dolmen
