Dolmen of Kervignon

The Dolmen of Kervignon (also called Kervignon Dolmen) south of the local sports center of Plobannalec in Quimper , in Finistère department in Bretagne in France . In France, dolmen is the generic term for Neolithic megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

Dolmen of Kervignon

The roughly square capstone, heavily weathered on the upper side, rests on one side diagonally on two supporting stones and is supported on the other on a small residual stone. It is the remains of a dolmen, much of which has been destroyed. The remaining part was perhaps a corridor, as its side stones are small.

The Kervignon dolmen is not far from the Kervadol dolmen .
