Klastorp dolmen

The two dolmens of Klastorp ( Swedish Klastorps dösar ) are about 1000 meters apart in Klastorp. Klastorp is seven kilometers south of Varberg and is a village in Träslövs socken in the province of Halland in Sweden .

In the coastal west Swedish village are two of the only seven surviving dolmens ( Swedish dozen ) Hallands, which were built in the Neolithic (3500–2800 BC) by the carriers of the funnel cup culture (TBK).

The western one ( location ) is a long dolmen ( Swedish långdös ) called Klastrorpdösen, in a 13 by 4.5 meter large barn bed . In the center is a rectangular chamber measuring 2.0 by 1.3 meters, of which three supporting stones have been preserved.

The eastern ( location ), the Stenstugan (stone hut) (also called Blotabordet (sacrificial table) or Östra Klastorpsdösen) is a Runddolmen ( Swedish Runddös ) in a hill. It is deepened, and of the chamber only the three meter long and 1.6 meter wide capstone is clearly visible, which shows rock carvings.

In the village there are also four loops and a stone setting .
