The dolmen of Mura Pregne stands in the lower valley of the Torto , in Termini Imerese in the metropolitan city of Palermo in Sicily . It is made of ashlar as they also occur in Sardinia and in the Bronze Age between 2900 and 2100 BC. BC originated. It was reused in the Greek period and shows the Hellenistic and indigenous practice of placing human remains in urns (enchytrismόs) in the chambers.

The approximately 3.0 m long rectangular dolmen is of the corridor type, consisting of four large bearing stones (two on each side) on which only one capstone lies. A second plate is next to it and the third is at the entrance.

The seven dolmens of Sicily attracted the interest of Italian scholars at an early stage, although they did not attract international attention. Its main distribution area is in the southeast of the island, while the western part between Termini Imerese and Sciacca has only two megalithic systems . About 7.0 km from Sciacca is the dolmen "La Lumia". It was discovered under blocks of tufa in 1930. Pottery shards from the early Bronze Age were found all around.
