Lucia Scharbatke (born December 13, 1982 in Fürth ) is a German film and advertising producer and lawyer.

Life

Lucia Scharbatke grew up in Neustadt an der Aisch and Exeter . In 2008 she completed her studies in law at the University of Passau with diploma from. This was followed by a degree in production and media management at the University of Television and Film Munich , from which she graduated in 2013.

Since 2008 she has been managing director and producer at Kaamos Film , which is represented in the USA by Uncharted Territory, LLC . The films she produced have received national and international awards at numerous festivals and have been shown at events such as Hofer Filmtage , Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis , DOK.fest Munich , DOK Leipzig , Palm Springs International ShortFest and Hamptons International Film Festival .

In 2014, filming of the documentary Just Another Day In Paradise began on Fogo . In November the team experienced the volcanic eruption on Fogo and was the only international film team to film the destruction of the village of Portela on site .

From October 2015 to September 2018, Lucia Scharbatke worked as producer and Director Productions (DP) for the production companies Trixter Productions and Trixter Pictures.

Lucia Scharbatke teaches "Producing Film / Animation" and "Producer's View" at the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm / Faculty of Design, and "Media Law" at the Faculty of Applied Physics, Mathematics and General Sciences.

Since October 2018 she has been advising the Technical University of Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm in legal matters as legal advisor for university law.

Lucia Scharbatke lives in Nuremberg and Schwäbisch Gmünd.
