Dolmen 1
Nagelsti Langdysse

The Nagelsti dolmens are located on the western edge of the Priorskov (forest), south of Sundby on the Danish island of Lolland . The megalithic systems were built between 3500 and 2800 BC. BC as plants of the funnel cup culture (TBK). Neolithic monuments are an expression of the culture and ideology of Neolithic societies. Their origin and function are considered to be the hallmarks of social development.

In a field south of the Bymarken road lies an almost complete dolmen with four bearing stones and a large capstone. A little further east, at the bend in the road, there is a second dolmen, without a capstone. To the north and north-west of the forest are two Langdysser, one of which is set by 40 curbs. To the east of Nagelsti is a 60 m long barren bed, surrounded by 74 curbs.
