The Pacciunituli dolmen

The dolmen of Pacciunituli near San-Gavino-di-Carbini is one of the picturesque megalithic structures on the island of Corsica . In France, dolmen is the generic term for megalithic structures of all kinds (see: French nomenclature ).

The dolmen has a huge capstone. It lies in three-point support on comparatively small supporting stones, one of which even protrudes like a needle and the facility resembles a boulder burial , which does not exist in Corsica. In addition to the supporting stones, some small wall stones have been preserved. Other information on sizes and weights cannot be given.

It is in the maquis next to the field where the menhirs of Paccuinituli are located.
