Domatium
In botany, plant parts are called domatias (from Latin domus "house") , which are supposed to provide living space for animals, mostly insects.
Occasionally the name of a group of animals is prefixed as a more precise definition. Acarodomaties are often tufts of hair on the underside of leaves and are home to mites . Myrmekodomatien are often cavities that are inhabited by ants .
