Dominic Cannon (born June 24,  1983 in Gießen ) is a former German basketball player . He was active with a double license for the regional league team MTV Gießen and the first division team Gießen 46ers and played eight games in the basketball Bundesliga .

career

Cannon made his debut in the Bundesliga team of Avitos Gießen in the course of the 2002/03 game year and, in addition to short appearances in the first division, was also on the field in TV Lich's shirt in the 2nd Bundesliga . Until the beginning of 2005, the 1.90 meter tall player was part of the extended Gießen Bundesliga squad and played a total of eight games in Germany's elite league. He then retired from the professional field in order to concentrate on his professional career as an investment advisor in a bank.

Later he still played in the lower class in Butzbach, at MTV Giessen and in Rossdorf. He was also active as a youth coach for a U16. Cannon also played American football for second division Frankfurt Universe .
