Dominic Johnson (journalist)

Dominic Johnson (* 1966 ) is a British journalist and non-fiction author who lives in Berlin . He has been touring African countries intensively since 1990 and writes about their political development, the history and the crises of the past decades in these areas.

Life

Johnson has worked in the editorial department of the Berlin daily taz since 1990 . Since 2011 he has been one of the two heads of the newspaper's international department. His publications include several books and a large number of newspaper articles as well as contributions to the quarterly Regards Croisés of the Pole Institute , a research institute in Goma in the Democratic Republic of the Congo near the border with Rwanda . Johnson is a member of the Advisory Board of the Pole Institute. He runs the Congo-Echo blog on the taz website .
