Dominic Nahr

Dominic Nahr (born June 10, 1983 in Heiden , Canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden ) is a Swiss photojournalist and war photographer .

Dominic Nahr was born in 1983 in Heiden, Switzerland. He is the son of a Swiss tour guide and a German transport company. Nahr grew up in Hong Kong and lives in Switzerland. Before going self-employed in 2007, he studied film at Ryerson University in Toronto and worked for the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. His photographs appear in Le Monde , Time Magazine , GQ , National Geographic and the Wall Street Journal .
