Dominic Wade (* 12. April 1990 ) is an American boxer in the middleweight division . He is promoted by Al Haymon and trained by Barry Hunter .
Professional career
Wade made his professional debut against Chris Davis on March 14, 2009 with a knockout win in the first round. On June 27, 2014 Wade defeated Nick Brinson (16-1) for the first time, an opponent with a good record; he won a ten-round fight in round 2 by a technical knockout. In the following Wade completed only one fight, against the former Australian IBF world champion Sam Soliman . Wade was able to win this battle, which was scheduled for ten rounds, through a split judge's decision.
In April 2016 he lost to Gennady Golovkin (34-0) by knockout in the second round .
