Armin Blutsch (born January 23, 1961 in Amstetten ) is an Austrian fire department official. He is Vice President of the Austrian Federal Fire Brigade Association , Deputy State Fire Brigade Commander of Lower Austria and Commander of the Voluntary Fire Brigade Amstetten-Stadt.

Life

Armin Blutsch was born in Amstetten in Lower Austria , graduated from a commercial academy in 1980 after primary school and then enlisted the one-year-old volunteer in the Austrian armed forces, where he was subsequently deployed as a militia officer, most recently he reached the rank of captain in the 12th hunter battalion .

As a teenager, he joined the youth fire department of the Amstetten-Stadt volunteer fire department , where his father, Helfried Blutsch, who was the fire department and district fire department commander in Amstetten, had a significant influence. He was therefore one of the first official youth fire brigade members of the state of Lower Austria.

After being transferred to the active state, he was promoted to youth leader in 1977 and subsequently to fire extinguishing master . As early as 1988 he was elected second deputy commander and from 1996 he was fire department commander of the Amstetten-Stadt voluntary fire department, section fire department commander of the fire departments in Amstetten and district fire department commander of the Amstetten district . On February 26, 2016, he resigned from the position of commander of the Amstetten district fire department.

In 2001 he also became a member of the regional fire brigade council as chairman of the finance committee and in 2006 he was elected regional fire brigade commander deputy for Lower Austria . He is also the Vice President of the Austrian Federal Fire Brigade Association .

Private

Armin Blutsch is married and has two sons, born in 1987 and 1992. Professionally, he is a department head in an IT company.
