Dominica (martyr)

Dominica (* between 260 and 287 in Tropea ; † 303 or 301 ) was a Christian martyr at the time of the Roman emperor Diocletian .

According to tradition, the daughter of Dorotheus and his wife Eusebia destroyed pagan idols and were therefore thrown against wild animals. But since the animals did not attack her, she was beheaded.

Her feast day is July 6th.
