Mount Titano
  • September 3: According to tradition, the Christian stone mason Marinus moves to Mount Titano on the run from the Diocletian persecution of Christians , lives there as a hermit and later founds a monastery and a chapel. Since it is relatively unknown, it can exist undisturbed by the central Roman authority . September 3, 301 is considered the founding date of the independent state of San Marino .

  • February 3rd: War of the Eight Princes in the Chinese Empire : The regent of the insane Chinese Emperor Jin Huidi , Sima Lun , deposed the Emperor and had his Crown Prince Sima Zang executed. He then named himself emperor.
  • June 8: Rebels against the self-proclaimed Emperor Sima Lun conquer the capital Luoyang and force the usurper to poison himself.
