- 321 : Introduction of dies soli ( Sunday ) as a general day of rest.
- 324 : Battle of Adrianople and Chrysopolis ( Hellespont ) from which Constantine emerges victorious and thus forces Licinius to abdicate.
- 325 : The Milan Agreement is extended by Constantine to the entire Roman Empire and assures him the support of Christians .
- 325: Constantine elevates Christianity to the imperial religion.
- 325: First Council of Nicaea - According to a power of the Emperor Constantine I, Arianism is condemned and the banishment of Arian clergymen and the burning of Arian writings are ordered. The Nicaean Creed affirms the beliefs represented by Athanasius ( Trinity ). The date of Easter is set to be the Sunday after the spring full moon .
- 325: Constantine I had his co-emperor and brother-in-law Licinius executed and thus became the sole ruler of the Roman Empire.
- 326 : Byzantion is raised by Constantine under the name of Constantinople to the capital of the Roman Empire and residence .
