Events
- The Synod of Elvira (between 300 and 302 ) established many moral and moral precepts for Christianity. Marriages between Christians and Jews are forbidden, Pentecost and Sunday as a public holiday are introduced. The synod is not recognized by the Eastern Roman churches .
- February 23, 303 : Beginning of the tenth Roman persecution of Christians under Diocletian . The first edict against Christians is issued in Nicomedia . Accordingly, the community property is confiscated, Christians are released from administration and the army and their civil rights are deprived of them. Christian worship services are banned and churches and rooms are destroyed.
