Dominican convent in Fremdingen

The Dominican convent in Fremdingen , a municipality in the Donau-Ries district in Bavaria , was founded in 1737. The building of the Dominican convent at Kirchberg 17 is protected as a monument .

history

The monastery, founded in 1737, was secularized in 1802 and returned to the Dominican Sisters in 1828.

Building

The three-wing complex consists of two-story saddle roof buildings with profiled eaves cornices , which were built around 1740. In the west wing there is a pharmacy from the second half of the 18th century. The monastery wall, which includes a herb garden, is also almost completely there.
