Dominique Arnold (born September 14, 1973 in Compton , California ) is an American athlete and American record holder over the 110 meter hurdles .

The 110-meter hurdle sprinter Arnold had his first major success in 1999 when he finished fifth in the US championships. In 2006 he became US champion in 13.10 seconds. In 2001 he finished fourth in the US championships. After injury breaks, it was difficult for him to return to his previous form. He achieved this in 2005 when he finished second in the US championships with a new personal best of 13.01 seconds, qualifying for the US national athletics team for the first time . At the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005 , he narrowly missed a medal in fourth.

At the athletics meeting in Lausanne 2006 he was able to set a new US national record with 12.90 seconds. However, it wasn't enough for him to set the world record because the Chinese Liu Xiang was two hundredths of a second faster than Arnold. However, he undercut the old world record of Liu Xiang and the British Colin Jackson , who previously held the world record of 12.91 seconds.

Dominique Arnold is 1.85 m tall and has a competition weight of 76 kg.
