Don Haworth
Don Haworth (born January 18, 1924 - January 17, 2007 ) was a British radio play writer . Haworth was from Liverpool. His piece Salamander Hotel (original title: Events at the Salamander Hotel ) was voted radio play of the month in April 1977 . Haworth was the first author to receive this now traditional award.
Don Haworth last lived in the Lake District in northern England.
