Donald Smythe

Donald "Don" K. Smythe (* around 1930 ) is a former Canadian badminton player .

Career

Donald Smythe won his first two Canadian titles in 1952, five more followed by 1955. In 1957 and 1958 he won the Canadian Open in men's doubles with Budd Porter . He celebrated his greatest triumph in 1954 when he was able to advance into the All England final. There he was defeated by Eddy Choong from Malaya with 5:15 and 6:15.
