Dongping
The circle Dongping ( Chinese 东平县 , Pinyin Dongping Xiàn ) is a county in the province of Shandong . It belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of Tai'an .
The stone sculptures of the Baifoshan rock grottoes (Baifoshan shiku zaoxiang, 白 佛山 石窟 造像) and the Hongdingshan rock inscriptions (Hongdingshan moya, 洪 顶 山 摩崖) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2001 and 2006, respectively .
