The Taishan District ( 泰山 区 , Tàishān Qū ) is a municipality in the Shandong Province of China . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Tai'an . Taishan has an area of ​​337 square kilometers and has a population of 620,000 (2003). It is the center and seat of government of Tai'an.
