The Evangelical Lutheran village church Langenwetzendorf is located in the municipality of Langenwetzendorf in the district of Greiz in Thuringia .
history
The village church from Langenwetzendorf was built in its shape in 1616. The economic boom in the weaving mills in this area was a prerequisite for further renovations in the 19th century at the church . The pulpit altar is the ornament and the soul of the room.
Church music
Church music plays a central role in the life of the community. The trombone choir has existed for 50 years. There is also a church choir. Children and young people learn an instrument, such as the trombone or the flute, and sing along in the children's choir. The Langenwetzendorfer church choir rehearses once a month together with the choir of the Evangelical Methodist community.
