Nauendorf village church
The village church Nauendorf is located in the community of Nauendorf in the Weimarer Land district in Thuringia . It belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Kranichfeld in the Weimar parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The Protestant church is located southwest of the village on a hill in front of a forest.
history
The constant risk of flooding at the old location prompted the parish to build the church in 1829 high above the place in the neo-Romanesque style. Gravestones , the baptismal font and the organ were also transferred from the late Gothic predecessor church. For the 600th anniversary of the town in 1999, the citizens restored this Nauendorfer church again.
