The Protestant village church Thälendorf is located in the Thälendorf district of the city of Königsee in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district in Thuringia .

history

In the middle of the mountain village at the foot of the forest mountain stood a small chapel from the 12th century. The present church developed from it . It was built from 1750 and expanded in 1836.

This church, which stands out in the field of vision above the houses, is now a listed building and was extensively renovated in 1990. It has stained glass windows and an organ from 1752, probably built by Johann Daniel Schulze from Milbitz .
