Village of Hollenbach
The village of Hollenbach is in the center of Hollenbach, a part of the municipality of Mulfingen in the Hohenlohe district . It is a natural monument . Their age is estimated to be at least 700 years. This makes it one of the oldest linden trees in southern Germany. The place under the guided summer linden tree is described as a formerly holy place and place of judgment . It was thus the judicial linden tree of the village and its surroundings. Its main branches lie on a wooden frame supported by stone pillars. On the stone pillars are the names of those who died in the war. After the First World War, a memorial for the fallen was erected under the village linden tree.
