The Wegenstedter pond is a pond west of the market town of Calvörde , in the district of Börde , in Saxony-Anhalt .
The pond, managed by an anglers' association , contains eels , perch , pike and carp . With an area of around 0.1 ha, the Wegenstedter pond is one of the smallest fishing waters in Saxony-Anhalt. There is a small green area around the pond.
To the north of the pond there are still traces of the former Wegenstedt-Calvörde small railway line , to the west is the tower of the former limestone works of Calvörde, to the south is the Silber See and to the east is the market town of Calvörde.
