Dorn is a German Metal - band .
history
Dorn was founded in 1998 by Roberto Liebig, the ex- keyboardist of the pagan metal band Riger . For the debut album Falschheit , released in 2000 and recorded in the studios of CCP Records in Linz , Liebig played all the instruments alone.
The album received good reviews, so Liebig was signed by CCP Records and he gave up his engagement with Riger. This was followed by the two albums Burning Cold and Shadows of the Past . Musicians Michael Werber, Sebastian Ziem, “Lars” and “Ira” played on the 2004 album Suriel , with whom Liebig also went on tour in Germany . In mid-2005 "Lars" and "Ira" left the band again. With the two remaining band members, Liebig recorded the album Spiegel der Infendlichkeit in October 2006 , which was released on February 23, 2007.
