Dorothea Huber (* 1980 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German illustrator.

Life

Dorothea Huber studied graphic design at the HAWK Hildesheim and works as an illustrator and graphic designer in Berlin. She illustrates for journals, magazines and publishers. In 2008, the illustrated book Kapitän Pamphile by Alexandre Dumas was published in the Gutenberg Book Guild , which was shortlisted for the most beautiful books in 2008. In 2011 she published (together with the author Kai Splittgerber ) the adventure novel Brehms Tierland. From the expedition book of the animal researcher E. Alfred Brehm. Your work has received several awards. In 2011 she received the Hans Meid Award for Illustration.
