Kai Splittgerber (* 1981 in Cologne ) is a German author and publisher.

Life

Splittgerber studied cultural studies and creative writing and cultural journalism at the University of Hildesheim . In 2004 he founded the Glück-und-Schiller-Verlag (a student publisher with changing editorial staff) and in 2008 the Fruehwerk publishing network. In 2009 Splittgerber (with Stephan Porombka ) carried out a study on literary life in the new federal states at the beginning of the 21st century on behalf of the Network of Literature Houses . Various journalistic and literary publications, etc. a. in the Tagesspiegel, the Berliner Zeitung and BELLA triste followed. In 2011 the novel Brehms Tierland was published (together with the illustrator Dorothea Huber ) . From the expedition book of the animal researcher E. Alfred Brehm. An adventure novel for which he received a grant from the Lower Saxony Ministry for Science and Culture in 2010. In addition, Splittgerber published numerous books.
