The Dorsey Mountains are a mountain range on the Loubet coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the northern part of the Arrowsmith Peninsula, they rise immediately east of the Somigliana Glacier .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey mapped them on the basis of surveys and aerial photographs from the years 1956 to 1959. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them on September 23, 1960 after the US physicist Noah Ernest Dorsey (1873-1959), the had dealt with the laws governing the formation of ice.
