The Dorsum Guettard is a dorsum in the southern hemisphere of the Earth's moon . It is approximately 40 km long and its mean coordinates are 10 ° S / 18 ° W.

It was named in 1976 after the French geologist and mineralogist Jean-Étienne Guettard . His name was approved by the IAU at its General Assembly in Grenoble .
