The Dorsum Higazy is a 60 km long dorsum on the Earth's moon . Its mean coordinates are 28 ° N / 17 ° W. Like many lunar sites, it was discovered and named in 1976. Its name was derived from the Egyptian geoscientist Riad Higazy and approved by the International Astronomical Union at its General Assembly in Grenoble .
